Hey all,
I am undertaking a small task for my company. We are having a new office building built across the road from our current office. The area is around 50 meters away from our current office. We are looking to set up a digital camera or webcam of some kind in a 1st floor window to take snapshots every 5 or 10 seconds or so of the building site, which will be stored on the hard drive of a PC. We may also look at streaming the video over our website (at a reduced resolution). We require a high resolution camera, such that it will be able to read the number plates of cars that appear in view (security). We are looking to use software something like http://www.ambientweather.com/moviemaker.html Is there any kind of digital camera/software setup where the software can induce the camera to take a shot every 5 seconds and record it to the hard drive? Budget is anything up to around $1000 for the camera. Any help or suggestins for the camera or software would be very much appreciated. Thanks.
