hmmm
I have not seen it but have heard its a bit of a let down.

Too much of a "bond" movie...

I will still see it one day though.

I'm unsure if I liked it or not, it was a good movie but not my cup of tea.

Hannable Lecter (silence of the lambs) growing up as a young boy and older teenager, i'd say its a horror/drama kinda.

i didn't like it as much as red dragon or silence of the lambs. it looked good though, very atmospheric and i really liked the guy that played hannable.

i think, and a friend that seen it with me agrees, the story is just a little too 'hollywood'. just my opinion of course but...

i really liked "red dragon" and "silence of the lambs" which were both written years ago, and am not exactly blown away by "hannable" and "hannable rising" which are both pretty current.

if you like any of the other three though, its worth going and seeing i think.

I went to see Hannibal when it was released, as I was given the books (Silence and Hannibal) for Christmas 1999, so even I am surprised that I have not seen Hannibal Rising yet. That said, however, I am looking forward to it.

How does the young Hannibal compare to Anthony Hopkins' Lector?

I don't know whether it will be the same sans Clarice.
