Default Help - pubstays (melbourne)

hopefully i will be traveling down to melbourne in a weeks time (hopefully), and i need to know of some pubs in or around melbourne that rents rooms Cheaper the better (cheap - cheap - cheap) ive tried ringing a few packpacker hostels, but since im driving down they wont let me in ( and i dont want to park my car 5k's away )

can anyone help please.

willing to stay upto 40mins outside of melbourne if its cheap enough.

F1 motel is on corner of Hume Hwy and Western Ring Rd, on the side of the building it says around $39/night (cant remember exactly), that would be cheap. Would be as close as 15 mins from the city centre, depending on the traffic up Sydney Rd

There is no access to any form of minibar either, thats all mine!
