hopefully i will be traveling down to melbourne in a weeks time (hopefully), and i need to know of some pubs in or around melbourne that rents rooms Cheaper the better (cheap - cheap - cheap) ive tried ringing a few packpacker hostels, but since im driving down they wont let me in ( and i dont want to park my car 5k's away
 )can anyone help please. willing to stay upto 40mins outside of melbourne if its cheap enough.  : |

F1 motel is on corner of Hume Hwy and Western Ring Rd, on the side of the building it says around $39/night (cant remember exactly), that would be cheap. Would be as close as 15 mins from the city centre, depending on the traffic up Sydney Rd
