As the title suggests, myself an fordel are guaging interest in a GranTurismo 4 Competition in Arcade mode around Nürburgring in a Stock Typhoon, Post here if you are interested, have not worked out what the prize will be yet, but it will only be minor.

Basicly the idea would be to post your times, obviously honesty needs to be a factor, but arent all Ford drivers honest?

Ok people, here is what is up for grabs....A signed Ford hat by Marcus Ambrose, could be worth something one day. The competition will run until April 30th so HEAPS of time to practice and for those people who have not got their copy yet to get off their ARS%'S and buy it. I will post a pic of the prize as soon as I find out how to post it up here.

Just had a run of the Nürburgring in the Phoon... bloody hell that is a massive track (~21km), took me like 8mins to do one lap, LOL.

lol if this game is realistic I dont see a typhoon doing the ring in 8mins..isn't that M5 times?
Anyways yeah Ill be in it..Im the same, haven't even touched arcade yet. I just got my SVT Mustang R..410kw with only a couple of mods!..woohoo Oh and it you used your GT3 credits then thats cheating...lol

i did it in mid 8's a very mediocre time as wasnt really trying, just did a run to see rough idea of times
i have started the whole thing again anyway, got a sunfire atm saving up for the M3 CSL Chris

OK this was my first race so don't laugh! I got a 9.08.225 with a BOG STOCK typhoon in arcade mode! I was all over the place lol, I'm used to GT3 so I kinda sucked.

Had a punt, 8:58 first time round, 8:36 second time round. I think I need to get used to the track a bit more, I'm going off in way too many places and breaking for corners I can take flat stick.

Yeah that's what I was doing too, thing was I had a window behind me and it was a real sunny day today so there was heaps of glare on the TV screen (curtains are taken off because we're painting) so I couldn't see very well either.

lol yeah the stock typhoon is gunna kill you for top end speed too..
who is using manual im using the auto and i have a time 8.25.472 on lap 2 in time trials |

ok now In know its just a friendly competition, but do we need to prove it somehow?
Screenshots are dodgey as there are some freaks with PSP; maybe a digi cam shot? I dont know when im going to have a crack..having to much fun in sim mode.

Hmmm First time in a Typhoon around the 'ring was a 9' 17.005 affair. Involved a few offs and some general nastyness. Though I was impressed by the 5th gear in the automatic transmission going down the last straight at 230km/h
