I bought an extra hard drive to have as a slave. Problem is i have no idea about computers :yeees: I've attatched it and on setup it shows up as a slave but on windows it doesnt come up. Is there something i'm missing? I'm clueless with computer tech stuff so any help will be appreciated.
Thanks |

You may have to go into your BIOS and adjust some settings there. It's possible depending on your Windows version that it does not support the size of the drive. You may have to activate large drive support for it in your BIOS. You may have had to change the jumper on your master now that you are adding a slave also.

have to create a partition first, then you will see it in My Computer, then you can format it. The drives you see in My Computer aren't the actual drive, it's the partition, so if you don't have a partition, it won't show....
Right click on My Computer, then click Manage, Then on the left part of the new window, click Disk Managment... you can do the rest from here
