Wednesday night Race 4 Real off-street meets continue to be one of the most popular events on the Sydney Dragway calendar and it’s quite easy to see why!
Here are some great performances from last week’s Race 4 Real at Sydney Dragway. Top Holden of the Week Nothing keeps the crowd entertained more than a Torana with a big chunk of engine hanging out the bonnet. This silver beast ran a best ET of 10.88 @ 123.84 MPH. Top Japanese of the Week [img][/img] This Hayabusa made the nine-second bracket look all too easy to achieve, laying down a best ET of 9.93 @ 142.67 MPH. Top Rotary of the Week This little Mazda punched out a best ET of 10.45 @ 131.88 MPH, surprising more than a few spectators. Top European of the Week With its semi slick tyres and track-ready stance, this BMW managed a super quick time of 12.17 @ 128.42 MPH. Check out that MPH! Top Ford of the Week It only takes a few simple modifications to the XR8’s 335kW Coyote V8 for it to make serious horsepower. This white example managed a best ET of 12.25 @ 120.70 MPH. Commentators Pick of the Week Postman Pat turned up to see what kind of numbers he could run. Turns out big red postal vans have no excuse for running late, with this van running a best time of 18.87 @ 72.42 MPH. Race 4 Real is on every Wednesday night at Sydney Dragway, weather permitting. Keep it safe, legal and off the streets! Gates open at 4:30PM and racing starts at 6:00PM. Check our website for T&C’s and entry information. Next Race 4 Real is this Wednesday April 27, 2016.
