So I got some Et Street's cheap and some Et Front runners to match...just wondering what size and tyre pressures you are using in your car.
I have a xf ute with a NAT ASP 250 running 12.2 @ 112mph so far but have been having trouble putting any RPM on the convertor to launch the car on MT radials, hence the swap to the ET Street's.I have some 24x4.5"x15 fronts and 26x10.5x15's rears with tubes on a 15x10 rim to help stiffen the sidewall a tad. Havn't driven on slicks (yes I know the Et's are a treaded slick) in a long time and it's a different car aswell so any help with car set up would be appreciated. Rob |

Cheers bro...I know what the website says but TBH running 12PSI in rag tyres doesn't sound like fun. Took it for a drive yesterday with 35 front and 20 rear and cold no skids rolling it hooked ! When I got home I put some on the convertor and it went 3400 on the foot brake before it pushed which was good. Backed it off to 3000 and it launched pretty good with real wheel spin.
Should be a good deal I think. |

I'd start higher at like 25psi and work down from there at the track..

25psi is very high, I'd use 20psi as a starting point!

25psi does seem high, why so high for a slick tyre ?
