Love interest!

In the past we've had people on here not necessarily looking for love but the threads have turned into a mini chat to/chat up session. Whats wrong with a sub forum dedicated to those who are single and interested in finding someone with similar interests.

You could say this a car dedicated forum but amongst all the threads everything is covered in one way or another, except this issue! We are not so blind as to believe that only males use this site as there are quite a few females that also post on here.

Any thoughts! "

Is it not possible to raise a subject without most assuming that the thread starter is desperate and dateless!(I'm engaged and have three kids) I'm just asking a fair question for the benefit of those who are at this point in time single, and cant find a lady who has a more involved interest in cars.

Alot of women out there dont have any interest in cars (other than if its a flash one you must have a big wad of cash). At least on here you may find a woman who has a genuine passion for the automobile and has an interest in the technical side of it, if she didnt then she would probably be on one of the dating sites looking for her man.

I was just wondering why this hasn't been seen as a great meeting place for those who are likeminded and could share some common interests!

LOL. I don't totally disagree with the original idea being put forward but think it may distract from the original purpose of the forums.

From what I have been told by a few others there have been blossoming relationships formed from AFF. A baby or two has been the outcome (marriage etc probably too lol)

So it isn't like it doesn't occur on here. I also vaguely remember there was a dating thread or something at one stage, or at least it turned out that way

at some point in your lives you single people might have to get out from behind your desparate "my space, face book, rsvp" type lives and actually have a face to face conversation with someone who is actually real in the flesh rather than a REAL conversation with a fake photo on the net, cos i'm a handsome studly muscly goodlooking guy with an XR8 F^ typhoon with ag iga kilawatt of rear wheel horsepower NOT

with all the members here , majority of them blokes , by far , i dont see the point, unless there are homosexuals intereseted. but i'm still hetro, and married, so at this point i dont see it as a viable way to chatup. but if anyone wants to try and pick me up, theres always PM. and no one has tried yet. i think the odds of a hot 19 year old female trying to pick me up here are greater than me winning power ball , so i'm off to the newsagents now . and thats my 2c not 100 bucks. hahahah

The 1,000:1 ratio of single horny Ford owners to women would overwhelm most poor lasses to the point of none of them daring to enter the threads for fear of receiving 256 new PM's in the first 5 minutes.

Best way is to attend club meets, cruises, be active DOING what you love out and about. My best mate from our club brought along his girlfriend and one of her friends one night out to dinner, I fell for her friend and not long after I asked her out. 10 months later we're loving every minute!
