Check out the first few minutes of this video (it's long but the first 3 or 4 minutes are interesting).
Click Here To Watch Came across this new article: Russians Urgently Building 5,000+ underground bunkers There is a lot more to see, but I felt the first video, and then the news article, make for an interesting read. I'm not one for all these 'conspiracy theories' but when I hear Russia is making bunkers BECAUSE of this comet... well, it makes me think. |

sweeet - so if the world really IS coming to an wnd on September 25th, I don't need to pay my rego that falls due afterwards.
I wonder if he'd have enough conviction in his beliefs to sell me his house for $20 - to take effect on Sep 26 if his predictions don't come true? |

Haha, valid point. I didn't post it to create conspiracy, but yeah - the only thing thats really making me think is the previous earthquakes and how the comet was supposedly 'aligned' - and all of this Russia building bunkers business. Those points, make me wonder...
But, I didn't verify any of the above claims... so it could all be BS that people are believing without any verfication. So I won't comment on whether it is true or not. Interesting, if it is, though. |

Damn my surgery will have been for nothing. Been waiting nearly a year to get my heart sorted, but now 2 days after it finally happens, we're all going to die. Ahh well atleast if HBF don't cover the whole bill, I won't have to pay.

Bugger, I will be back at work by then and I do not want to be at work when that happens, the floods were bad enough. I might have to take my long service leave.

Ok so the good news is that east coast of australia will be wiped out via tsunami. Hopefully that wont get as far as Mt Victoria.
But then we'll be killed in a million different ways if we survive that. How bout we send 200 nukes at the damn thing. Oh wait thats too expensive, better let the world get destroyed. No matter where you look in this world, its all doom and gloom. People keep predicting the end , and failing so far. Better not be in september! Least it would take out those stupid bloody greenies.

What a load of BS, people have been carrying on about that thing for the past couple of years, it's 3km across which is tiny for a comet. The moon has a gravitational/tidal pull that is about 50,000 times stronger so how it will kill us all is beyond me.

Must be a mate of Camping's? Rapture is coming people.
In all seriousness, there does need to be a human cull or we will really end up killing ourselves off this century anyway.

So am I to believe this comet is causing earthquakes? Here's a link to an actual credible source; http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/news.cfm?release=2011-135 |

Hi Rod,
Thanks for the link. I've seen it before and read through that. However, I'm a little skeptical of anything they have put on there because they mention that the comet is 'harmless'. But from what i've read (not personally confirmed, though) is that the Japan earthquake and also the Christchurch earthquake both occured when the Earth, Sun and Comet were aligned. Not sure if it true... BUT if it is, then for NASA to say it is a 'harmless' comet basically dissolves any credibility that they might have had from me. Again, it all depends on if the comet aligning IS the cause of the quakes. If someone was able to verify that it was indeed aligned on both the Japan and Christchurch earthquakes, then I would say we have pretty convincing information to say that the comet, when aligneg, IS causing earthquakes. Which, if it is, NASA is horribly wrong to say it is not harmful. Personally, I want to own an EcoLPi... so.... hope it's all just BS. But USA buying $1B of dehydrated emergency food, as well as ordering so many bunkers that private buyers face year long delays, as well as Russia building their 5K bunkers make me wonder if I should build one in my bloody back yard LOL. |

The cause of the Japan earthquake is shifting tectonic plates. It'll also be the same cause of the upcoming massive earthquake in California. Not an insignificant Comet. Just like the doomsday clown a few months back predicting the rapture on Earth, I'm still looking forward to playing BF3 in October, 1 month after the Illuminati's covered up date of destruction. |

Earthquakes happen daily throughout the world. I believe ~100,000 every year. You'd probably never get a decent source of this 'alignment' due to the fact that the people who claim this alignment either fudge the figures of the 'alignment' or fit one event to another unrelated event and say 'tada'. Given the frequency of earthquakes, it's not difficult to tie two 'alignments' with two earthquakes. What does it prove? There's a shedload of gullible people out there that don't understand what causes earthquakes. The only thing I'll find interesting out of all this is what the clown in the original video will think up once nothing happens when this harmless Comet passes. |

"Apparently", when this 'alignment' happens - there is some type of resonance or whatever you might call it (I don't know what it is, but related to 'frequencies') that causes some sort of huge force or whatever. But like you said, Earth-Moon-Sun alignment has happened and we didn't get anything. The only thing I can see that might hold any credibility to what is being said (by the guy in the first video) is several things. Whether the true size/mass of the comet is being told to the general public. IE - if it is actually a lot bigger than what we are being told. Or, if the comet will come a lot closer to our Earth than what they are saying (NASA thinks around 35M KM's). Obviously, if it comes closer, the G force from it on us will increase. In either case, I'm still HIGHLY interested as to why Russia, USA are building those bunkers. I know it could just be due to 'possible war' or whatever, but why the haste. Also, USA ordering $1B of dehydrated emergency food (have not confirmed) seems mighty suspicious. |

Should have seen how many supermarkets were wiped out of stock in late 1999 for fear of the Y2K bug.
Now, that said. I would suggest that everyone should have adequate supplies of food and water at all times in their house. Even blackouts or other minor events can cause major problems in society and looting for food if it goes on for days. Be prepared, but not scared is what I say
