Some mechanics need shooting

So today I took my Fairmont in to have the plugs replaced (car done over 100k and they were still original, so I figured get it done) 5 of them were pretty siezed in but it was finished. However while I am there we put it up to look at rear bushes because of knocking. Check the left all good, check the right, all nice and tight, nothing loose or worn, however we suddenly look at the right rear shock again, and the bolt that hold the bottom of the shock etc (not sure what it is called) has been put back in the car back to front, so the bolt is actually rubbing the shock, rather than creating a gap. Thankfully it has not yet put a hole in the shock, just a dent, but it is being fixed tomorrow. Not sure who the last person to do any work there was but they need shooting. Surely you re check, you don't just tighten and walk away?
