Can we change the FF logo?

Im bored with the BA and AU heading picture.

Maybe something old and new? Ba and a mustang/xy/xb or something?

Maybe FF could run a competition and give away a free upgrade to Donating Member or something.

Im sure many people would happily do it for free though.

Sounds like a good idea. Wouldn't mind seeing some more modern writting aswell as an old school XY GT beside a BF GT in the header.

Yeah, id really like to see the edges of the picture faded to white so it blends in with the page colour.

It kind of irritates me Odd i know.

CalaisTurbo.com has a similar setup. The banner changes every so often, with a different car.

I agree, with the change. I think it's been the same since I joined 2 years ago.

Definitely in favour of the XYGT/BFGT idea.

I was thinking that as well.

It wouldnt be hard to have 5-10 logos that change up over time.

I like the sound of that. An XY GT with a BF GT would be great, maybe have a Territory as well to show AFF isn't just about sedans ?

I'd say that style of writing was chosen because it reflects that of the Ford logo

Do we want a Model T Ford to depict history?

Yep. I don't like change. :P

Go for a XYGT, then people would say, why not a GTHO or an XW?
You could go a sedan, then people want a ute or a territory...
You could go for a T series, then people say they want an EL GT aswell.
Suggest a 40th Anniversary GT people want a Tornado or a Typhoon on there.

We would end up with the Ford logo because that's the only common denominator OR we can leave it with what it is, even if it changes people are going to think something else would be better...

How often do people really spend looking at the logo. I honestly had to scroll up to check what it was. Soon as a page loads my eyes are focused on the first post.

I dont mind the current logo, but if a change is needed ,surely we have some talented artists on line that could come up with something to cater for all fords.

The writing is fine, I would like to see the picture updated, even if it is only slightly. For example keep the AU on the left, the BA in the middle, and change the right AU into a Territory, an XR5 or a Ranger or something.

Probably waiting till the Orion is released for a change. People will want a change when the Orion comes out.

i had a look at the results. most of the people who vote no are probably au/ba/bf owners.

which is wat would be expected though. im sure anyone who owns an xd, would love the logo to be an xd baggin them up.

Yeah looks like it.

I just thought id see what people thought.

I dont really mind, as other have said i dont sit there studying it all day, but maybe a change is good....

I own an AU and a BA and I voted yes, when you think iconic Ford (and as good as the BA is) I don't think you would picture either of those.

i like this idea best ... keep at least 1 AU up there, but change the 2nd one to something different, even territory, hatchback or ute!

and as usual the e-series get forgotten. any chance of an EBGT or ELGT as much as they represent the tiniest minority of e-series owners. i've really felt since day 1 on this site that if you didnt own an AU/BA or X-series you were nothing.

I voted for a change and support including a Territory (obviously ;) )

While an update would be nice it's not going to be easy to please everyone, just consider who has a home here now;

All the Falcons; X-series, E-series, A/B-series plus the Falcon derivatives of Fairlane/LTD, Utes, Tonners and Panno's plus the Territory.

Earlier small and mid sized fords; Zepher, Escort, Cortina to name a few.

The past and present Euro imports, eg. Mondeo, Focus, Fiesta etc

The US derived SUV/Pickups, eg. F100/150/250/350; Bronco, Ranger, Escape, Explorer

The performance branded Fords of Tickford/FPV

the list goes on and on.........

PS. and while were at it I support changing the Aussie flag (as shown in the banner) to lose that British flag in the corner.
