Default Transporter 3 - the movie.

I'm sure I'm not the only one that is a fan of Jason Stathom & the Transporter series of movies.
Great news is that he's back with transporter 3 & what's more it's due to hit the cinemas from the 26th November. Mind you that's prob the US release date so we may not see it til mid next year.

Yes while I enjoyed both the 1sty film I thought was a bit better, and some of the scenes a bit more believable!

The jump of the car then flipping mid air for the bottom of the car to scrape a crane hook over the docks to knock off the under-car bomb had me in stitches

I liked the first one, one the flip side, I thought the 2nd one was quite possibly the worst movie ever made.

And im not kidding, I shudder to think what the 3rd will be like. The 2nd one had crap story, crap characters (bar Frank and the French Cop), crap fight and the worst special FX this side of a 1950s scifi- my god that plane fight scene was gay.

Nah ... the Audi had it over the BM but is a tear jerker when the BMW goes boom in the first!

Watched this on video last night ... again! Great movies, both of them and is very worthy of No.3. As long as they stay on trck, true to the first, should be a good franchise!

Huge Fan of the first 2, Trailers look good more car scenes in this one by the looks of it, and fight sequences look similar to the first which I thought were put together really well. I have to admit I was curious as to what car would be used in the 3rd, surprised they went with Audi again( not that there is anything wrong with that). A bit of a let down that the guy that plays the French cop isn't in this one.

Will see this one definitely.

I like the movies in a pure switch off from reality and disengage type of way

ps: IMHO 7 series "more gooder" than the AUDI A8

I will be watching number 3 irrespective of what cars are in it.

George is right, these are movies where you just switch off your mind and enjoy them as such. Too many people allready take life too seriously, its good to switch off for a bit.....

As for the other 2 movies. I allways liked number 1 the most. A manual car earned some xtra cudos with me on the BM over the audi in T2.
The light hearted banter between Tarconi and Frank in T1 was also very enjoyable.
In number 2, the Psycho Gun/Underwear chick is funny as hell.

Jason Statham is turning out to be a top Action actor.
Crank is another top movie, love how he does that rampage all movie long and even tho he is dying right through the whole movie, he still makes the fella who poisoned him crack it......
Even the part in the remake of the Italian Job, he brought plenty of life to that movie. Death Race 2008 was a pretty poor remake of the original flick, but Jason played a good part again.
I dont really care if these guys or gals can or can't act or whatever, as long as I enjoy the movies thats what I like, and Jason Statham's collection so far has been right up there with stuff I enjoy watching....

Will do. Cheers for that.
Was just looking over things on the net, and CRANK 2 will be out some time next year, its in post production now.
Also in a few years the sequel to Italian Job, called the Brazillian Job will hit the screens...Way cool stuff......

Watched The Bank Job today, that was an AWESOME movie.
I will say it again, this actor is the Action King of film.

Action man wise.....Arnie is finished, Stallone and Willis are too old to be credible, Van Damm is a joke, Segal is MIA, Cage and John Revolting are also MIA, The Rock was a good possibility, or even Stone Cold, but both of them arent pumping out films like Statham is. Hell even Arnie gave The Rock a quick pass the torch cameo in Welcome to the Jungle, and he has yet to capitalise on it....Jason Statham has the monopoly on action films currently.....

Have to agree with you about Jason. He is my favourite actor by far, love his work.

Do you know if he is actually in the Brazilian job? As some Italian Job actors are apparently not doing the sequel.

According to the latest info....But still early days yet....

Brazillian Job has...

Jason Statham
Mark Wahlburg
Charlize Theron
Seth Green

So far.....Set for 2011 release.

Death Race was good because of Jason and Tyreese, but they didnt really make a good remake on the original concept of Death Race 2000.

The trans continental Road Race was a much better concept IMHO......Points for killing and maiming pedestrians etc a much more entertaining concept....

This movie was more akin to The Condemned, but with cars on an enclosed track in a prison as opposed to crims thrown onto an island to kill each other as in Condemned.

in an interview on the new topgear, mark walberg said they have stopped doing the brazillian job (well at least his involvement) as he is concerned about the content in the movie, so until they give him a decent script, he aint doing it.

(also mark walberg + jason stathom = win)

Dont bother paying money to see T3, just watch the first one again, followoed by lock stock and snatch ;)
plots poor, and hardly any driving action at all, although a lot of driving the car.
