whilst there are some interesting points raised, have a look at the site, it's hardly unbiased.

The US dollar is a fiat currency. It is backed by nothing. Once the faith in the dollar collapses, it's bye byes US of A.

And guess what boys and girls, the Aussie dollar is a fiat currency too. If the US sneezes, we get a cold; if the US gets a cold, we get tuberculosis.

True, America's fate was sealed when nixon decided to stop backing US dollar's with Gold.

China is the worlds new next superpower, It's a good thing we have a positive relationship with them.

I think they have a vaild point Jeff.

Look at the huge US trade deficits, America have been going deeper into debt every year in the billions, its no where near sustainable.

They print currency in a slap happy manner to try and solve things like the germans did after the treatie of versailles was signed.

Property has crumbled and huge corporations have been going under even GMC is on the verge of extinction.

That used to be the case, and still is to a degree but with Australia's continuing economic reliance on resources, china, and in a few years more so india, will take the place of Amercia.

Anyone heard of the "Amero"??...google it and read up. The fall of the US dollar is by design.

The US dollar is fiat currency (which means it is basically worthless), has been since 1913, their Federal Reserve (like our Reserve Bank) is owned by private European banks!!

Agreed to a certain point. I've been following the prices of these for a few years now (http://www.mustangaustralia.com.au/showroom.asp). It seems there is a massive markup on them as their price hasn't changed even with the AUD becoming as strong as it is in recent times.

The US dollar is the benchmark in the stock market by which other currencies are measured, a few years ago, oil producing countries could only sell oil for US dollars but now they are switching to Euros because they see the US dollar has turned into toilet paper...

Right now, the US taxpayer is funding the "interest only" payments on the US deficit!!...every dollar printed is money owed to the European bankers.

It's not a pretty sight...

of course they're not going to change their prices,

but if you were to import one on your own it would be a shedload cheaper

Every empire gets to certain point, overextends itself military wise then suffers financially and erodes from there.

Yes America would defeat China despite there numbers if they could come up with some money to fund it. Perhaps they could borrow some more money from China ?

Look at gold and oil prices...the reason they're shooting up is because the US dollar is losing it's value by the the hour...

Yeah true that, 2.8 million soliders and some average fighter planes and a ok navy against the US airforce and navy is a mismatch for the yanks. But it wont happen they seem to be getting on good.

We just better hope China don't go and sell off the Us dollar when they readjust their foreign currency holdings.

Now that will be very nasty.

Im not saying it wont go up further, it could. But not a wise investment long term. It has just reached the all time high it reached in the early 80's. It has been in the last few years, $US260 an ounce.

The only reason to buy gold is if you think it will spike to $1k before dropping back to realistic prices. Its currently a short term gamble only.

China cant get it troops to anywhere though. Its all very good having ridiculous numbers of troops, not much help when they are stuck at home.

Without doubt, the US is still the superpower.

lol Infowars ! OK, who are the GLP trolls here...

btw, China will win a war with the US now thanks to the traitors in Israel selling military secrets/hardware to the Chinese. Why do you think the US/Israel haven't gone ahead & invaded Iran ?

Don't fall for that crap about the Yanks being all powerful etc... next week or thereabouts, the deadly laser weapon mounted on the foredeck of an aircraft carrier that is to be shown to the media, is nothing of the sort. The planes that are meant to be shot down for the display... are only filled with explosives. A hoax. Just for the defence contractors pockets. Same stuff happens every few years in the US. Patriot missile, missile defence shield, first scramjet flight and on and on it goes.
