Default Underage drag racing?

Hi, was just wondering how old you have to be to drag, and whether you can race and actual car rather than a junior dragster somehow, without being 16/18 whatever. Thanks, Jack.

not to sure on the official rules but Russ at Heathcote prk will let juniors run with parent or gaurdian then asses them to see if they are capable to do a solo pass and then only one car on the track at a time you can contact Russ or Joe through there webb site and they will let you no whats what ..
good luck ..Whoosha

You can race Junior dragster at 8 until your 16
Then strangely you cannot race again unit you turn 18 in a full size car. You dont need a road licence but do need an ANDRA licence. If you want to race at a street meet you will need a road licence and min age 18 years. Thats for W.A. cant say for other states. As far as Im awair you cannot race even with parent permission etc here in W.A. at all, unless its in a purpose built car (Jrn Dragster) or your 18. So if your 16/17 sorry you just have to crew for someone.
