If the cops did that here the crim would sue for wilfull damage and assault and get a huge payout.

Just yesterday the guitarist from a rock band was awarded $330,000. after crashing into some roadworks that didn't have the prescribed warning signs around them. He was THREE times over the alchohol limit. No other drivers had any problems with the roadworks.

the guy was a murderer (i'd imagine a mass murderer at that - 11 life sentences....damn!)...... i think its called aprehend him at all costs....

IMO in this case normal police chase standards go right out the window
