any particular reason you want an LCD?

they are improving but a flat CRT will still OWN any LCD.

i have a 19" dell CRT which i picked up reconditioned for $150.

i use an LG 19" LCD at work and the DELL/SONY 19" Flat CRT at home. I definately prefer the CRT picture by far.

only problem is the sheer weight of the thing. eventually i'm going to have to get an LCD for home use becuase i like to take my comp to lans. moving a 19" crt monitor aint exactly something that encourages me to participate
