I am trying to install power for a dashboard GPS by using a blade fuse double adaptor but I cannot get it to fit into the fuse holder. Has anyone had this problem and if so how did you resolve it? Is there a better place to patch into the power? I have tried filing down the plastic around the prongs but no luck.
Thanks |

Yes there are some spots you can use where it will fit. I had constant 12V and ignition wired to may dashcam use fuse taps.
https://fusecheck.com/ford/ford-focu...8-fuse-diagram Check fuses when ignition is off and on to get your two sources. Check ones that you aren’t using for example: I wasn’t using moonroof so checked that. For when I needed power in the boot I tapped off the heated seats fuse as I didn’t have heated seats. A multimeter is your friend.
