Default Sad to let it go..

It was a sad day yesterday to farewell my Cougar. I sold it! :'(

Never had an intention to sell it. Two injuries in both left and right shoulders back to back took away 2 years off my life. With frozen shoulder no way I could drive a manual so had my car unregistered past few years. I had to leave it out in sun for about 6 months which is when I decided to pass it on to someone else rather than let it deteriorate in harsh weather.

Listed for over $9000 for what it is, the work done to it, how it is maintained and the spares I was giving away with the car. (spare headlights, tail lights, fog lights, AC compressor, short shifter, LIM, mounts, ST200 cams with injectors, IMRC control, secondary throttle actuator, stock air intake box and many more).

Had to drop price significantly and ended up selling for just over five and half grand with all extras since I was relocating interstate. Serviced it, changed all wear and tear bushes, serviceable items before selling. I hope the buyer appreciates it. Seems to know what they have bought.

I don't think I will ever have such passion for another car going forward. Spent so many hours working on it, the effort, money, the time I spent enjoying the ride, places I driven in it.... all history now and won't expect to have such experience again.

I still see few people with some interest and passion for this car. Happy to share all I know about this car and help with any queries.

Sad to see it go, probably one of the best Eibach examples I've seen. If the new owner ever comes across this forum, they will definitely be greeted with pages of helpful information from over the years (& also the international forums too). Hopefully you find something you'll enjoy for your next car too.

Thank you for your services on this forum.

Always kind of sad when health or other circumstances force us to give up on something we enjoy.

I do hope the new owner understands and appreciates that it is more than just a car.
