Default 12.3 bolt-ons with radials PART II

Well went for a drive up to Heathcote with the GF on Sunday, to watch the Harley Drags, and ended up running, glad i took the ET Streets, (im lazy havent emptied the car out yet) Anyway after my fuel problem and valve springs goin soft last week, got those problems fixed with a clutch bleed hoping for the best reeled off some more 12.3 in 30 degree heat again.

12.36 @ 112mph 60ft 1.77 new PB
12.36 @ 112mph 60ft 1.81
12.37 @ 112mph 60ft 1.78
12.39 @ 112mph 60ft 1.82
12.40 @ 112mph 60ft 1.82
12.41 @ 112mph 60ft 1.80
12.48 @ 112mph 60ft 1.86

Big thanks to Nathan Higgins who supplied me some VY stock Valve springs as mine were rooted, and to Steve at F1 Performance for letting me bleed my clutch and giving my fuel pump quite a few big wacks to make sure it works,

So now my clutch is finished and just slips everytime and my ET Streets which are now bald.

Thanks again to Heathcote Park, the Coffin Cheaters and the Nitro Racers for the great hospitality and laughs.

Oh i ripped my standard shifter out 3 times,

Im just spewing as if i had a new clutch, it wouldnt of just slipped as i couldnt rip through the gears as usual due to the slipping and being very notchy.

Getting there Simon. Good stuff! ET streets aren't radials, they are wrinkle wall tyres. They're supposed to be bald too. I run ET streets as well

The ET street and DOT means you can run them in specific class's of drag racing not on the street. They aren't street legal. I've been canaried twice now partly due to them.

[edit]Your dying in the topend as your 60ft's are damn close enough for an 11.??!

DOH! My mistake forgot about the new MT range of drag radial. Little secret Although they say they are street legal. They aint. If you get pulled over with them you'll get canaried for tyres. They are similar to the RE540 (I think thats the tyre number). The RE's a circuit race slick with a small amount of tread like the MT street radial.

Damn annoying that is! :jab:

[edit]Yes, they work very well too. Not as good as a slick but damn close!

Simon have you looked @ the clutches advertised @ http://www.horsepowerinabox.com ? They are supposed to be very good and rated by hp. Falcon Coupe runs one with 270rwkw without issues.
