Default New to selling on ebay, might be being scammed, advice?

Hi guys, long time lurker. Just started selling some things on ebay and i'm a bit concerned about one of the items and was hoping someone with a bit more ebay experience could help?

So i'm selling an item worth $300 (buy it now) someone just bought it and requested item postage charge, on their address they list their street, suburb state etc but not the actual house number so i sent them a message to get their exact address. This is what i got in reply (i've editted out their email address from the middle).

Also their last feedback from this month just says "scammer".

Hello Seller,
i wish to make payment for the ebay item ASAP.Kindly provide me with your bank details so as to enable me make the transfer of funds into your account ASAP.Here are the details requested;Acct Name- Acct No- BSB Code- Email Address.I will also like to inform you that i wont be able to pay for for the ebay item via paypal,as a result to some problems with my paypal account.i will only be able to pay for the item via bank transfer. My EMAIL; <<EMAIL EDITTED OUT>>, Thanks.
NOTE I AM BUYING THE ITEM FOR MY SON'S ABROAD AND NOT FOR ME,AND I AM ALREADY ADDING AUD $150 FOR THE SHIPMENT COST BY AUSPOST AIR MAIL PARCEL-AIR TO MY SON'S RESIDENCE..

Does this sound right? Any help appreciated i'm a complete ebay noob and don't wanna get scammed on my first sale :P

Nah, while it's not exactly dangerous to hand over BSB and account number the rest of the story is too fishy.
Even if their paypal account is having issues they can still pay into your paypal account with a credit card.
Why would they add $150 for freight and not mention where they won't you to ship it?
Stop contact and re-list it.

..and report to Ebay. There's a button, or similar to do this.

Smells fishy........... I'm betting the email address is a hotmail one

Tell him to send cash via registered mail.

They'd probably send you a fake receipt for funds deposit and you'd send them the item and lose out on any $

They may be able to get enough personal details to pretend to be you and gain access to your accounts I assume?

Its just an xbox 360+games and accessories.

Their account is a bit funny, they have 60 feedback but all of the feedback is from over 12 months ago except the one item with the feedback of "scammer". The feedback they left over 12 months ago had decent grammar, the message i got and the feedback they left to the guy who gave them a negative are in broken grammar english.

This is the last "feedback left for others":

SCAMMER,took all my money and refuse to ship, also tried to hack my account.THEIF Seller: mgrrobin During past month
Reply by mgrrobin (31-May-15 21:58):
User contacted me directly and offered to pay over the auction amount, Scam. .

mgrrobbin is the one who left feedback on their account calling them a scammer.

Just got this, note they still haven't told me their address to calculate postage which i asked in my first question. This would be kinda funny if it didn't delist my item. Is there any way we can have fun with them like one of those nigerian scammers?

New message from: dlswanson12 (60Blue Star)
i am not a scammer, my and the ebay had a disagreement, so he decided to damage my perfect feedback, can you please give me a good review.

As tempting as it might be to have a bit of fun with it, IMHO, just move on. You just don't know how sophisticated they are and if they can 'hack' into your email / IP address etc (I'm no IT expert either).
