A worst song thread is kind of pointless, whether or not the song is bad or good there is always some someone who will think it is bad for every song ever made, so you might as well just list all the songs ever made and someone will tell you its bad.

Yeah, Ben Lee is starting become irritating, You're right, everything on the new album is repetitive meaningless nonsense, it seems to be sellling well though so good for him I guess. Went to the uni bar when he was playing here in Canberra, had a fairly good time but it sure as hell wasn't attributable to the quality of the music.

I agree with the whole anti black eyed peas, james blunt, hillary duff etc. thing. I'm struggling to find a radio station that plays any of my favourites these days. The local old fogey retro radio station is about the only one i can stand, : and thats only coz they're about ten years behind the current releases. : Hmmm, I wonder if they'd play some Rollins band if i managed to get through during the request hour? :Reverend:

Ben Lee is cool, it's just really ****es me off when someone falls to the commercial bullcrap input from some major company who tells them what to sing, and what is going to make money. It was better when he was unknown as are a lot of artists.

There is so much good music available, but people are so drawn to the absolute garbage on (most) of the radio stations. Whatever happened to a thing called talent?

A lot of my mates will go through my iPod asking who the hell all these artists are.... I just can't put myself through the torture of talentless crap. I'm just glad I decided not to fall in the trap of music with no soul.

But then again, music is something most important to me hence my cynicism.

lol eminem is the only rapper i listen to besides 2pac, eminem's lyrics all the way back from his first album to the latest stuff, are all about messing with peoples heads and it works because people take what he says seriously, i just see him as a comedian as he makes me laugh so much. I listen to 2pac because he actually 'raps' about something meaningful not 'blunts, s and fortys'

Thats the beauty of a radio station like Triple J, they never play any of that commercial crap, the supposed artists who care about nothing but making money. They expose new talent, and you here songs way before they are released on any other commercial station.
Bands like Franz Ferdinand, Greenday, and wolfmother hit Triple j with their newest stuff about 2months before someone like nova will claim that they are playing the new song from Greenday. Best station ever and you don’t have to put up with any ads either.
