Hi guys I have had a busted stacker in my '02 fairmont for some time so I recently got my hands on a working stacker unit but it is from a normal non climate ICC when the broken stacker is removed from the dual zone and replaced with the good one from the normal ICC the screen displays nothing not even "code" can this stacker be programmed to work in my ICC?
If so how much and does it get re-programmed with the unit removed or in-car? The good stacker is from an '04 xr8 if it helps. |

the best thing to do is call us and book in your car to have a look at the cd module and to see if its compatible. Sounds like you have the wrong cd module non compatible with the fairmont. cheers fadi75

No need mate the stacker mechanism itself is totally different the one in the fairmont uses u-shaped plastic holders to guide the cds, whilst the new one is all metal plus the main boards are the same, but the smaller board that is screwed to the cover just above the mechanism itself the old (busted) one is tiny, the newer ones is about 4 times the size plus one of the ribbon connectors is different.
Thanks for your time anyway. |
