Hi all, just saw this show on channel 9 today called Test Drive, and I gotta say; It blew dog.
I mean, there are some comparisons between our much loved Top Gear in as much as the test track and laptimes set in supercars, not to mention the RTV segment somewhat reminscent of the TG boys efforts; but my God, what a crock of poo. The first thing they suck balls at is praising every car that they have on there, including their talk about the powerful Epica. I'm thinking "WTF, all 115kw?", then the idiot says the fuel consumption is a miracle as well with 9.8l/100km on a 2 litre 6 hauling over 1600kg. Honestly, bad reviews, bad show, rip offs of a proven format and basically showing the limit of Australian television for originality. I hope the show gets axed. Anyone else see it?

Yeah I heard it come on and changed channel. Saw it last week and they were trying to compare the Territory turbo ghia and a Porsche
 : Have to agree its pretty bad

It's just like "The Car Show", the one hosted by Glenn Ridge, only they review other products as well as cars. It's essentially a big infomercial, they are payed to review (read advertise) a product that's all. You just have to remeber that because the review is not impartial there wont be any criticism.
