Some nice guitars guys.

I sold my Ibanez RG a few months agp. My mate Juz was teaching me to play, but I just couldn't really get into it. I wasn't willing to set aside time to practice. One day I might try take it up again.

This is the one I sold :(

i have been playing for a few weeks, i am getting lessons. I am playing 'The Gambler' at the moment, cant wait. I can also play the intro to Wolfmothers White unicorn, and Good Riddance by Green Day. Thats about it at the moment, I am picking it up fairly quickly though, which is good.

Only been playing guitar for 3 and a half years, bass for 4. Heres my Toys nothin special:
Yamaha Pacifica PAC012 electric guitar(was my first electric)
Yamaha RBX270 bass guitar
Rhapsody acoustic

Bought a PRS SE Singlecut in black cherry beginning of this year, which im gonna get some EMG pickups for :
Dont have a good amp, but i will get one soon cus it doesnt do the PRS any justice, or even the yamaha lol. got a crappy amp for bass too, but wont need a new one since i hardly play it, plus i jam at my mates place anyway where he has a bass stack amp.

Sorry it took so long to get back. AFF seems to hgave been slow the last few days, so I avoided it.
I play an SR500, through Eden Nemesis gear. Seems to do the job good enough.

How hard is it to pick up Bass Guitar if you already play a "normal" guitar? I have a drum kit, and a couple of guitars. I figure I need a bass if I want to be able to record some songs on my own. lol

if you can already play guitar, bass will be easy to you. it's going the other way that is the tricky one!

As long as you know notes it's easy to play basic bass, and can recognise chords and what bass notes goes in that key

The trickier thing is doing the slap bass like those seinfeld licks lol

Some impressive collections on here! I've been playing guitar for the past 9 years, started on bass for the first 6 months then taught myself guitar from there and been in and out of bands most of that time. Am moving up near Adelaide (Barossa) in the next few weeks and am pretty keen to get into a band so if anyone needs a guitarist/singer message me (http://www.myspace.com/wesomc). heres a pic of my gear, sorry for the mobile phone quality!

MMMM I love guitars, been playing for about 20 years, own a music shop, teach guitar and play in a little seatle type cover band.

Electric Guitars:
Belman double cut away
91 Mexican strat
Peavey Wolfgang
Godin Freeway Classic
Ibanez VBT700.

Acoustics:
Epiphone (cant remember model)
Ashton Oms35seq

Amp:
Randall RM50 MTS.
These amps are the best amps I have played. The MTS series is all tube with tube pre amp "modules" that slide in and out. So channel one can have a mesa module and channel 2 Fender, most versatile amp I have ever owned.

Effects:
Jim Dunlop Zakk Wylde wah (not a Zakk fan just love this wah)
Digitech digi delay
Home made overdrive pedal (One of my customers makes them and they sound great. Since I have had it I have sold off my Ibanez TS9)
Ibanez CF7 chorus flanger
Digitech GNX4 guitar workstation (use this for practice and recording)

I will try and get some pics this week....
