I don't know of any that have been down the 1/4 to be honest. And i still reckon there hasn't been a BA/BF sedan into the 12 second zone yet auto or manual naturally aspirated ?????

there definately are....correct me if im wrong but someone on here posted a BF 6 sp auto with cai, exhaust, tune and gears doing 12.85 dont want to refer to my own cos i havent done a 12 yet but ive only had one trip to the strip on street tyres and did 13.006 highest mph of 111, 2.1-2.2 60' and have xr6 snorkel, power pipe, headers but standard cat back, gears and tune in a 4 sp 260 there is nothin special about my sedan, i would like to think if i had a stall and slicks i could manage a mid 12... without even the full list of bolt ons |

Hang on hang on the thread title and question is asked of a BF XR8.....Of course i know about Rob's and Dave's GT's, i have worked on them.
And no i am not kidding, i don't know of any BA/BF XR8 sedans that have run 12's naturally aspirated, if someone has please tell us about it. Cheers Craig |

Again i don't believe there is anyone on here that has a BA/BF XR8 sedan running N/A into the 12 second zone. If you do it JAYBA you will be the 1st, i think. If someone has can you please let us know. Cheers again Craig |

the thread dosen't stipulate sedan or ute, nevertheless it hasn't been mentioned yet but, it seems Hot460's ZF BF XR8 was/is the only one to have made it in the 12's?

Thats the one i was talking about with the 12.85!
was waiting for your appearance on this thread quadcams, but because thats the only one weve heard of one these forums dont mean its the only one...im sure there a quite a few esp if put in race trim... (slicks, light wheels etc) Last edited by JAYBA; 08-05-2007 at 04:05 PM. |

If you could adjust the software for a high stall you would see times drop considerably. |

If I could afford a new tailshaft I would be out there playin again! :
Next time the ute will have to be stripped, slicks and front runners. No more street trim. From memory, the car ran around 20 passes at 13.0 with the dunlops, traction was an issue. Just couldn't crack a 12. I am sure a better driver would have managed. Then 12.85 with Mt ET streets.
