"has so much power he loses it"?? Are you saying that cars that have a lot of power shouldn't be driven by anyone?
the guys on AFF that have cars with 250rwkw+ shouldn't drive them on the road as they have a lot of power and will lose it it the wet?
your arguement about illegal lowering etc is valid, but the the 'too much power' clearly isn't.
Thats entirely down to driver ability, respect for said power, and respect for the law.

I hope the cops all PARKED legally and drove correctly and used their indicators at the right time etc. I am sure they all did.
Unfortuanately ANY car can be defected if the cop feels like it. Then it is the owner's responsibility to have the defect cleared, not the cop's responsibility to PROVE anything like the car is too loud etc. There is NO onus on the police AT ALL, just that they "thought it may have been defective". Have you heard the one about the cop who looked under the bonnet of my car and asked it it was a 6 or and 8???

We used to have a regular 'friendly' get together at the Bundoora Hotel. This monthly meet went on for many years and was often attended by the local boys in blue. Than the not so desirable youngsters started to wonder in and pretty soon it was hoon city as they came and went in clouds of tyre smoke until finally the cops shut it down. Seems the same thing is happening everywhere. Those that spend the big dollars and countless hours on their rides are now clearly out numbered by the morons in their V8 commos and cheap grey import rice burners. I’m pretty sure the cops have now ‘run out of patience’ and I for one have no sympathy for those who get busted, your car is either legal or it isn’t. There is nothing new about cops lining the streets doing roadies’ its been going on for as long as there have been ADR’s in force.
