Never get sick of seeing that, years ago you would of blew it up after 1 or 2 goes at it but with todays technology it's much easier but the crankshafts would of suffered big time in that....

Craig, yeah I remember years ago Russell Simpson and Keith Agius blew and totalled near-new funny cars from getting back on the throttle |

i saw something very similar on cable a few weeks ago, was quite funny... they both past the line neck and neck with the rears ablaze.

Whats amazing (apart from keeping them off the walls and each other) is the both still ran 9 second passes. That means with all the pedaling, sliding, spinning and bouncing down the track, they still would have beaten some of the fastest cars on AFF by 2 seconds or more!!! Stunning.
