Default Price for an XR6

Sorry if this has been posted before but was talking to my best mate tonight and he wants to get rid of his magna and get an XR6 as his run around car..
Just wanted to know if you could tell me whether he's dreaming about finding an XR6 for under 23,000, he doesnt really have a limt on km's but was thinking something like 70,000 or 80,000k..
He doesnt want to buy a new one since its going to be his run around, since I know nothing about fords i thought i would ask the experts, I tried to convert him to a commy but he already has a mk2 BAGT and an XYGT in his garage so I had no chance in doing that...

My mate bought a MkI XR6 for $27k about or year or 2 ago. Surely they are worth nothing since I see more of them than XTs!

For a BA MkI XR6 with about 90-110K on the clock you're looking at about 18.5K-21.5K (private sellers).

Why is it the cars in your states cost less than here in qld, i am pretty sure a ba xr6 here is around $33,000.00.

I got mine brand new for less than that, you might have seen a turbo model.

You should be able to find a decent BA XR6 in the low 20k's.

Oh and MITCHAY it's funny you said that because the XR6 N/A almost outsold the XT's!

Fowles would be about 20k for 60,000kms. But it may go up to 25, depending on supply and demand.

Sorry to dissappoint you, but DRUGS are for losers any one who does drugs needs to be deported maybe to the moon, however reality and truth is where i dwell. i dont know if you get the trading post but if you care to take a look in there page 91 has a BA XT for $16,000.00, page81 has 2 ba xr6 for $33,000.00 and $29,000.00 respectively, unless it is a misprint i am not doing drugs. So again my question is why is it that cars up here in qld cost more than the other states.? Or maybe the ones you are quoting on are in a sad state of disrepair and done 230,000 klms or more....

What the owner thinks it is worth and what they are really worth are two different things : No way in hell I would pay that for a N/A BA XR6.

There is a place here called Canberra Fleet and Wholesale (something like that) and you can pick up XRs dirt cheap as well as the other models.
