Default 500Hp M5 Not Enough? How About A 810Hp M5?

www.worldcarfans.com

As Frank Barone would say. HOLY CRAP!

Quote:
Currency Motor Cars is proud to introduce the first of an unprecedented line of supercars. This flagship model is an ingeniously modified 2006 BMW M5 that can reach a top speed of 240 mph. This makes it the fastest, most powerful luxury 4-door sedan on the planet. CMC co-founder, Ron Cash, has brilliantly outfitted BMW’s compression V-10 engine with twin-turbo chargers and a custom inter-cooler system to kick out an astonishing 800+ horses.

No one in the world has been able to achieve this...until now.

This is the only car of its kind. The mind-boggling power of this vehicle is complimented by the exquisite alterations of it's interior. The leather in the steering wheel, arm rests and dash is the same as the leather in the seats. Fully aniline dyed Florida Crocodile in black. Only the finest suede and leathers have been used, much like the old Delahaye and Bugatti roadsters in the 1930's.

This custom interior is all meticulously hand stitched, designed and installed by Judy Amic-Angelo, one of the the most respected product designers in the country.

We know, nothing measures up to those Toyota's, doesn't quite have the sex appeal as an Aurion. :Reverend:

Lag would be the least of your problems, 0 to 100 in 3.6 sec is!

I can't believe BMW is getting worse with design of their vehicles .. they are slowly getting uglier and uglier.

Mercedes Benz on the otherhand though are starting to make much nicer vehicles than they used to.

Don't get me wrong though ... BMW mechanical design/function/technology is world class ... but exterior design has fallen by the wayside.

It's a shame really as I really do like BMW as well ... but I think they have dropped their game a bit in the design department with their current models though.

At the risk of being flamed : ; why do you need 800hp? Isn't 500 enough?.

I definitely like the previous models looks better.

Well design is all personal I guess, but just as a comparison.

E Class VS 5 series

I used the AMG version there, so thats cheating a bit, but I still think the BMW is more modern.

3 Series VS C Class

I know Merc has a newish shape coming out like below, which are better than what we get at the moment. (C class) But remember that the BMW shape older than the new Merc one and still looks as modern, if not more so.

But if you want to see the best sedan in the World, then its very hard to go past this Jaguar.

Yeap there pretty hot too, but I find it hard to pick anything wrong with a standard M5.

The style and the sound of it. No i have never driven one or been in one. I never said that I had. I am talking purely from style point of view. I see ne every day on the way to work. The 5 series styling has not yet grown on me. The 7 has, the 3 coupe is nice but the 5 and 6 just don't cut the mustard for me. Pure and Simple.

BTW chief caps are not cool

Love the exterior, looks tough. Interior is OK, but not really to my taste. Engine is pretty cool too - lag existed in the eighties...

The seats looks like some cheap cracked vinyl crap. Those turbos mounted where they are would get incredibly hot. As for lag, it's probably laggy alright, but with 7 gears and 8000+ rpm, they probably don't feel that laggy overall. But what's got me is why they actually put them there? Surely if twin turbos can be mounted under the bonnet of a BOSS V8, then turbos would fit under anything? You can definately tell it's American though, the Euros would have done a lot neater job.
