Default internet explorer 7 killing my eyes

I downloaded some updates from microsoft that included IE7. When I next went to use the internet I had to tick and check a heap of boxes, one of which had something about enhanced viewing, now my screen looks fuzzy like I've had 10 beers before getting on and I cant work out how to get back to the set up pages.

Can anyone help me?

It may be related to the clear type font smoothing. You can download this Clear type tuning powertoy from Microsoft. It may help.

http://www.microsoft.com/typography/...ePowerToy.mspx

Or turn off clear type in your IE Options\Advanced\Multimedia-Always use clear type in html= Untick.
