Unexplainable Bodyily Functions

This has been happening for ages, and its not just me...lol

Yawn Squirts!

WTF is going on there? I had a look last night and there a funny little pouch thing under your tounge that connects it to the bottom of your mouth.

What possible good does this do? Other than damping an assignment you are trying to get done late at night? Then you have to pat it dry and wait...sooo annoying!

Anyone got a good explaination for it? Got some excess spit or something? It makes you feel like something out of an alien movie.

Its not a regular occurance, every now and then.

Its even worse when you do it in public, I haven't been busted yet though. Imagine if you got someone with it, like if you were in a lecture and as per usual you gte bored and yawn and shower the person in front, that would be pretty embarrasing; not to mention how you would explain yourself!

So if anyone could clear that up id be grateful, been wondering for ages.

Is there any other weird things that people do? Try and keep it clean aswell, dont want to hear about weird sexual things....

Some people call it gleeking or lurching and they can do it on command. There is a saliva duct under you toungue (sublingual duct), when this is contracted in the correct manner (like when you yawn) it will project saliva. Only happens when there's a bit of a build up of saliva in the duct tho.

Promote some saliva build up - eat something sour... then roll your tongue back and push it hard against the roof of your mouth. Ive seen people able to do it on command.

But please... consider who or/what you're spitting on lol.

I've heard it up here called Guppy-ing. :

You just open your mouth sometimes and voila, instant spit.

Something weird I do is that I can be sitting there and all of a sudden, muscle spasms. Could happen in my arm, eye, leg. What happens is the muscle will contract and detract on it own... I'm stuffed if I know why it happens.

Hahahaha , ever since i have had fasle teeth , i have been able to open my mouth a bit then roll my tounge to either side hard, which produces a squirt like a water pistol to come out my mouth from side on ...lol ( i can squirt someone sitting 180 degrees side on , exactelly beside me , witout turning my head to face at them ) ..

I was never able to do it before i had falsies, with my bottom being false now too i can bend my tounge futher than normal which produces this effect .

You could wear a depends around your neck like an incontinent cowboy handkerchief. Dont dismiss the fine array of fluid control products from the fine people at Tampax.

Remember the strings tie to your teeth.

Happens to me, I accidently saliva'd on someones neck when I was in school a few years back. As they turned around and I quickly looked at the roof as if to study the leak in it... Funny thing is that it had been 40 degrees the last 3 days.

I can do this on command. I can shoot it almost 2 meters.. not quite enough to enter the guiness records :hihi: it works best when you think about lemons etc..

Heh I can do it too. Just been always able to do it. Don't think I can do it 2 metres though - never really tried.

Totally right. I used to be able to do it on command. Basically you excite your gland (nothing suss!) by eating lollies or whatever, press on it and press the roof of your mouth and squirt.

Mates were doing it alot one day and it was peeing me off so i just spat water at them. They were amazed at how much saliva i could spit! :

HAHAHAH Danny mate, unfortunatley, during my times of single hood I have seen her exploits, that puts my yawn squirts to shame!! Amazing stuff, never seen/heard of that before. (ok so I have a few vids in a folder somewhere..shhh)

LOL..I told my mother about theyamning thing the other day and she called me a freak!....good to know there are others out there it happens to.

Also, I used to chew gum ALOT during high school, and I always used to get neck spasims. Happened to that "tendon" that goes down the side. That was weird, looked like I had territs (sp?) or something; it was very random!
