Google to find the website Final Gear. You can download the latest episodes from there. The ones on SBS recently are season 6 and more than 1 year old.

You forgot to leave out an important piece of information in your title: "FOR THIS YEAR!"

It will be back, so there WILL be more Top Gear.

Phew, now I can relax.

I admire SBS for their shows because they show programs FOR THE PEOPLE, not for the ratings.

While 7 and 9 lock horns and show crappy reality shows that are a waste of time, SBS have shows that the truly commercials channels haven't got the balls to show.

Well done SBS.

God bless SBS for daring to put stuff on for the sake of it. Showslike OZ, southpark to name a few.

even then the mythbusters is also a season old.
although it is good they are actually on free to air over here .... eventually.
most fans of these shows just download them

to those of you shouting the praises of YouTube, seriously - download 1 full ep through www.finalgear.com and you'll never watch poorly compressed TopGear clips on YouTube again.

Oh, and csv8, you could work for Today Tonight with sensationalist, half truth headlines like this thread title.

What he said...

YOU BASTARD!

Scared the living **** outta me! I was having mental images of Richard Hammond dying and Jeremy and May not wanting to continue the show without him...

Phew... thy heart can resume beating...

Well put. SBS were also showing drawn together werent they??

And when a commercial channel does have the balls to put something a bit "out there" on, they make a meal of it.

Arrested Development in an 11:30 timeslot?!?!? Granted, it takes an episode or two to get used to... but you're rewarded with one of the funniest, imaginative and downright genius shows of the last few years.

Well close to it... Because of Richard Hammonds health, they are postponing the start of the new (current) series until further notice...

Another ballsy SBS decision:

Fat Pizza. Although the last few seasons weren't good, the first 2 were gold!

Get a torrent client (utorrent is a highly ranked one, bitcomet another)

That allows you to download the torrent links on webpages.

Another torrent sharing place is mininova.org and there is another called aussietorrents for Aussie shows.

You can watch the current series on BBC World (foxtel) Saturday nights at 7.30p.m. Only 1/2 hour shows though. Still a good way to spend a lazy 1/2 hour.

You have to download a BitTorrent client like utorrent and get everything set-up (which takes a while) But then it is rewarding, as you can download nearly all games, movies, TV shows and more!!!

Are you sure you don't mean 5th Gear? I know that is on UKTV, not TopGear.

Channel BT is one of the best Channels on the Interweb.

Whats wrong with my topic title ? No More Top Gear ???????????? There isn't until Jan 2007. Yeah you can download episodes, depends on your broadband account. If you have limited download then it would soon eat up your download mb.
I suppose I should have said No More Top Gear Until Jan 2007. BUT SPEED NAZIS IN UK ARE TRYING TO GET THE BBC TO CANCEL IT. !!!!!

Yes new new top gear has been postponed indefinetly http://www.finalgear.com this has a small news clip down the pages explaining why it has been postponed. It could be gone for a while if his statement is correct "top gear will not be aired until richard is healthy enough to be included in the live segments of the show"

No more Top Gear implies that it is gone forever.

No more Top Gear for 2006 is a better title.

I think they should postpone the show until little Richie is all better.

Australia is so behind on the Top Gear series. I download every episode and have watched all of Season 7 and 8 (Australia has just finished season 6). Season 9 starts in October. Australia is so behind!

Top Gear may be gone for ever - Pollies and bleeding hearts in the UK are applying pressure to have it banned due to Hammonds accident. They say the show is irresponsible. There is an online petition somewhere to have it saved.
