Default scrubbing

hey guys
i have put SL kingsprings in the rear of my lane
and the tyre is hitting the part where the mudflaps go/bumper wraps around under the guard

is this a common occurance?
how can i fix it beside with a knife/saw?
it ist not hitting the guard it self just the plastic of the bumper

Easy fix - change your sig to "too low".

Mine has chewed a section of the plastic inner guard out as well, but on ly on the LHS, and only when under cornering load around RH corners. The plastic on mine sits out a bit because the LPG filler lines run in under it. It's worn a patch about 10cm long and 3 cm wide, and that's it. Once it's worn away the direct contact patch, it won't wear any more - htat's what I'm hoping, anyway.

it only contacts during hard cornering with bumps and on big divits that compress ur suspension pretty bad
it isnt that low really... the guard is level with if not just above the rear tyre

ill investigate over the comming days/weeks and see how it goes and if i can fix it

Poor buger Ive got SSL rear and SL front on my xr and dont even rub on speed humps.

dosnt your lane have airbag suspension?

nah no airbags in this one

i was plannin on puttin hydraulics in but scrapped that for a few reasons

remembering i am running 20s with 245/35/20 on the rear

a few wacks with a hammer on the inner edge of where the muflap goes.. fixed the problem pretty much

have to take the rim off and give it a good going over.. but am happy with the result thus far
