am wanting to meet new people for friendship within the Brisbane area. I live in Geebung, north Bris. come to one of the things going on that you can find from the events section here in the forum.. 1st July is the Drive-in night http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=52642 7th July is the Sh-boomm night http://www.fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=53931 If you keep an eye on the Qld section you will see that some people meet at Aspley on a Thursday night, some meet up at Harrys Diner Friday night other go to the Gold Coast Saturday night... Also a lot go to the Drags regularly.. Everyone is welcomed to any of the gatherings... so come along, don't be shy and introduce yourself.. We all will look forward to meeting up with you soon... G'day John,
I like the drags etc as well basically anywhere I can get the tyres burning but unfortunatley I am more of a home body since the number 2 daughter came along, and currently on a very tight budget, so I cant venture out that often, But definatley keep an eye out on here for get togethers etc I have been to a couple, Harry's and the AFF BBQ in may and will generally post up I EOI if I venture out to the drags to see if any one else is going. |

Sorry to hear about your depression.I am on the north side of brisbane as well. May be you need something to take your mind off of things.A hobby of some kind. What sort of ford have you got.?

Mate, a lot of us go to Harry's on a Friday night because of the heavy metal that turns up there - plenty of old muscle cars rock up and it's a fun place to hang around, have a chat and shoot the proverbial. Just avoid buying food from the diner because it'll take 3 hours to turn up and then most likely be not what you ordered! And remember, don't pat any of the nice old cars because their owners tend to get upset with you..!
Harry's is off Newmarket Road in Windsor, and there's usually a few AFF members there every week. Fiery's on the money with other stuff, so keep an eye on the forums and pop along!
