Nice pager alarm seems to be the go, depends however if you actually want to confront them while they are doing it

bad luck there, to increase security get something like a $200-$300 alarm, get tinted windows if you havn't already.. as theives don't no if there is anyone in there unless they camp it a bit but even then .. someone could be sleeping in the car ?? :P

don't forget a streering lock

also how was it caught on camera? like you had a camera in the car or something

I punched an XD window once, its suprisingly easy. Obviously can't do much to stop them gaining entry but a loud alarm would atleast give them a fright. Last alarm I bought was $400 fitted. "Vision" was the brand...

A really loud alarm is really the only option besides hooking up some nasty surprises here and there...

Thats really not good, sorry to hear it eh.... At least with it being on camera you can have hope that they will be caught but don't hold a lot of hope of the courts handing out a decent penalty.....

yes solex locks are bad instead of them just sticking a screwdriver in your standard lock and wrecking it...with solex locks they jam the screwdriver blade between body and lock and ruin the metal around lock......this was done twice to a mates commy once at a car show and once at home.

so it appears theives know how to defeat a solex lock

yeah i already have a steering lock, the car was at aspley leagues club and its the latest of many break ins, security told me that some even get stolen so im lucky to have kept it i guess(although its demeaning that crooks dont even want it:P) it was parked in the light right in front of a security camera so the tapes are being reviewed tomorro and calling me with whatever info they can scrape together lol. a friend was telling me about getting shaved door handles, is that a very good option security wise? i plan on getting an alarm and immobiliser soon too
