There is no way Tori would ever be spotted or striped for that matter. She has far to much class and taste (and of course PERFECT hair)

Hey Brett

I just adore being spotted and I guess that’s lucky because with my ute its hard to hide from anyone!

I was on my way home from work and was a little oblivious to what was going around behind me so sorry I didn't notice or I would have given you a wave.

I ducked down the California Creek short cut at the last minute - as you could probably tell by my ahem "spirited" driving. _2:

Next time flash your lights and beep your horn until I give your beautiful new car the attention it deserves.

Cheers, Tori

I also spotted you on Sunday driving down (well northbound) Mt Cotton Road (just up from the driver training centre), I was in a friends WRX tuning it for him. We were on our way to pick up the boy from daycare before heading back home.

Must say the Ute / GT are always being spotted by myself, you seem to get around a bit Tori, specially on Logan Road!

Not financial in the club yet, am getting there though

I see it as just the right amount of cylinders, a 6 afterall is missing 2 and my 4 at home is only half an engine ;) But in all seriousness I do enjoy the burble of a V8, now all I need to do is actually get that burble...

We live in Mount Cotton so always seem to be driving up and down Mount Cotton road. _

I work just off Logan Road and Lynton comes and has lunch with me a couple of times a week so more than likely it is him you are seeing. And Kerri is right the GT is no longer MsTori and is slowly getting a new identity now that it is Lyntons daily driver.

Well I expected it really…. It was only a matter of time before my popularity rose to the surface again. :newangel:

And for the record kids my ute is PINK :king: :

Don’t even bother listening to this 6 cylinder waffle – we all know they only have ¾ of an engine and have to try to compensate by talking it up… its pretty sad really. :Up_to_som :evil_laug

God Love Mitchy - when he is right he is right!

And Liss I am totally into the leg wax punishment.... nice HOT PINK burning wax would be appropriate I think. Question is how many of us would be needed to hold him down?

That's ok I love stirring up the non V8 drivers too ;)

New car is going well, 850km on it now, should crack the 1000 mark by the end of the weekend. Drive by wire takes a bit of getting used to though, throttle response seems sluggish compared to my WRX, although the increase in bottom end torque is nice, being able to accelerate from 1200rpm in 4th is very nice. Miss the pure acceleration of the WRX though.

Car was run in nicely, haven't hit the rev limiter yet, been up to 5800rpm several times, engine just loves to be loaded up and even with the stock exhaust sounds quite nice, not as nice as it could though ...

I can also see why traction control is on these cars, it is so damned easy to break traction, much easier than the old 5L HSV ute I used to own quite a few years ago.

Even Vicki enjoys driving it, and she's only ever had smaller sized cars.

Ill be running in my new bottom end properly because i know how important it is now. :

I know what you mean about missing the WRX its just a great driving expirence!

Still own the WRX, invested too much time, effort and money into it to let it go for the normal asking price... It's going to become a dedicated track car (and stay street registered), aim is to compete in the entire Dutton series within 5 years.

Only real upgrades it needs to compete in the full series are better brakes, larger sway bars and bracing. Now that it is off the road I can finally get serious about putting the Motec in that I have at home and tuning it up.

G'day Brett,

So it looks like you are happy with the new car. Are you going to join us for the Skid Pan weekend at Gympie?
