I know a couple of people with them, they are the new 3G one right? They ar ehappy with them but they are a bit cluttered in the way the menu is and how much stuff is actually on the thing!! Also you reall start to notice how big they are after a while. The new samsung Z502 i think it is is coming out soon and it is a really nice 3G phone.

I have a Nokia N70, Its pretty sweet..... Battery life dwindles if you use all functions though... 1.5 days is not uncommon using it profusely.

1 is a phone with a 4.1 megapixel camera attached, and the other has a camera & vibrating alert attached...

Check pic for details

I've got the N70, so far I couldn't be happier! I've got spreadsheets, word docs stored on it for ready access (so I can put in footy tips for NRL and AFL with little knowledge! 7/7 last week!)
There's a lot on the phone, I guess it might get cluttered..The N90's better???

All of the nokia n series phones ive played around with have been very impressive. It's the operating system that sets them apart IMO - the amount of stuff you can get for symbian phones is amazing.

My brother has the Nokia N70. The previous model to the N90. The N70 is one of the best phones he has ever had so I imagine the N90 would be even better.

Default Awsome Phone

having used most phones on the market at the moment, the n90 is awsome. it is a little chunky, and not my style of phone, but i still love it and would recommend it to anyone. Apart from the n90 i would recommend a samsung z500. Its more my style of phone, smaller, more stylish, still easy to use, and its 3G as well. Another added bonus is it is a fair bit cheaper. Around $749 off the top of my head. Either of these phones would be fantastic for you though, both fantastic phones :1syellow1

Samsungs have good functions, but limited life. Samsungs are a throwaway brand IMO. Their battery life is dismal for standard phones, and friends that have had them say it doesnt get any better, to the point where the phone is useless before the contract is over. Im a nokia man, never had any other brand of phone, but there are not many brands on the market which have longevity as Nokia & Sony Ericsson!

i replaced my 6600 with the N70, and its a great phone, so the N90 would be better again for sure

One of my mates has a N70, its an amazing phone, but then again i really love the symbian OS and i pick phones i like based on features, not size or looks.

Go the N70 mate, the n90 is enormous and only really good if you want it for a camera. The logic in thinking the N90 is better than the N70 is a little skewed as the N90 is a different phone all together, the N70 is the best phone currently on the market. The only down side to it is battery life, with an application called smart movie you could use it as a portable movie player once you upgrade the memory card ( I bought a 1 gig card for $90), the mp3 player in the phone is ok and can also be used with loud speaker. Oh yeah and the phone quality is also quite good

Someone told me or I read somewhere that the keys on them are really really small, so if you got fat fingers it might be a pain in the *** to use, unless you get a dialling wand.

I bought my Nokia N90 in late January and had been using it for a few weeks until it died, have been waiting since Feb 9 for Nokia to fix the phone so I'm very dissapointed with their service especially when I forked out a bit under a grand for it.

Reasons why you wouldn't buy one:
Overpriced for features,
Camera is average and still not worth the extra $$$,
Battery life is very poor,
No vibration alert,
Lousy customer service and repair.
Not the most comfortable phone to hold while making calls,
MP3 playback average sound quality.

Why you would buy it:

3G,
Easy to navigate operating system,
Voice commands.

I got ones of these
Sony Ericsson K750i

I'd have to say its one of the best on the market.
Does everything you need, photos, MP3's, Sony Memory Stick(I have a 2gig stick), ect.

Yeah I quite like Sony Ericsson phones. Ive got the K700i, its similar to the K750i except it doesnt take a memory stick. Its got a heap of storage though and overall its a really good package for the money. I quite like the bluetooth remote feature too, even if it is a bit gimmicky.

All the 3G phones have pretty bad battery life from my knowledge, I have a 3G phone and a few mates do as well. Battery technology doesnt seem to be advancing at the same rate at the consumptions of the phones.

Yes, the 6280 was my other choice... but i couldnt find it at the time with Sloptars.

Some very nice phones on the market, anad you are right, the battery life suxors if you use all the features of the phone. If just using it as a phone, and not a camera, or anything else really, you will have good battery life.

When I didn't use the features on my N90 I got 24 hours battery life on standby, my old 12 year Ericsson could do better. First phone I have had in years where I always had to take the charger everywhere with me. It just plain sucked.
