Yeah, you can just imagine him standing there next to the boot going, "yeah, she's been a good rig, hardly a problem in the world" "serviced regularly (every 25km)" "Everything's within tolerance!"

Good on them! I would do the same thing but it wouldn't be as subtle as that.

i remember a few years back watching a segment on today/tonight about a lady who had bought a ford transit style van. it was a lemon and all attempts at getting a replacement from ford were un-successful. so she covered, and i mean covered the whole surface of the van with vinal cut lemons with massive lettering saying "THIS IS A LEMON" etc.

Good on him. Ford need to see that not all customers will be walked over. Its about time Ford took responsibility and were held accountable for all the Lemons/ИИИИ boxes they put on the road.

it also may be the way he treats it, theyre only built to withstand a certain amount of punishment, but i do understand there are just some lemons from factory...
we had a man buy a patrol from work, and he did the same thing, he even stands out the front, proudly displaying his behicle, telling potential customers his views... theres nothing they can do about it, free speech is allowed... but rthen theyare a mass produced item, theres going to be duds, they should work with that though... and understand it...

Yeah my ba was a dud, and i was FURIOUS with the crap i had to put up with, and the rubbish excuses etc, but i never lost my cool. Was close to doing something similar though, or involving the consumer commission. Takes a LOT of your sanity and free time though. Sold it, bought a better one.
