Exclamation Short Shifter? Worth it?

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/FORD-T5-SHORT...QQcmdZViewItem

Do you think this is worth the money! seems a bit expensive.. my dad got one for about 290 for his XD.. but come to think of it its a T5 out of an XR6 in his car.. would that fit my 88 EA Ghias T5.. might offer dad some money for his?

Are these even worth getting?
