It was too bloody cold for a gas pig... Only fell two tenths short of what we were hoping for. On a warmer night with some temperature in the car it would have been a much better performance.

Well guys had a bit of bad luck last night, got through the burnout last night with no problem but when the light went green took off got about 4ft out of the hole and SNAP goes another cv joint NOT HAPPY JAN.........oh well there's always next week LOL

Also noticed when pushing the car back of the track that the start line was very very sticky which probably added to the problem, l think with all the comp cars out there last week l think they thought they maybe back again and preped the track a little to much as it was hard to even walk on LOL

Alex says the same thing with the BA manual you need a touch of wheel spin to get them of the line, or if you launch with to much they break.
Did you get any runs in?
the Calder start line is sticky like that most weeks, I noticed this when guiding Rod's Monza in the water and back in his rubber.

I once went to take a step on the startline at Willowbank and my foot actually lifted out of my shoe which was stuck on the track surface
