Default adjusting idle speed

hey i just fitted a new battery today and as the computer re-learnt itself the idle has dropped to 500rpm is there any reason for this, i have takin it for a long drive to see if it goes back up and nothing (idle use to be at 800rpm). this actually caused my car to stall also- as i was coming to a stop i put the clutch in and turned the steering wheel and it died. so what is the best way to adjust the idle speed, cheers fellas

I don't know exactly myself mate, but there should be a couple of threads on the same thing. But you need to get into diag? mode but connecting two pins, and then go through a particular procedure.
