Hi Guy’s,
Well like the title says, I’m in Melbourne & I’m looking to get some work done on my coupe.. I’m only back form 2 years living OS & it’s time to give my Coupe some TLC, some of you may remember her.. Well she has a horrid dent in the drivers side rear Qtr & some other scratches & dents etc.. & I’m looking to get those fixed & get the car sprayed, at this stage I’m not looking to strip her back to a bare shell & do a complete rebuild I’m just looking to have her blown over in the same colour. I’ve just commissioned a new engine build up for her, but I want to get the paint looking good before I drop in the new motor. Any advice on good places to go would be great, Thanks

Hi Dave, welcome back. I remember your coupe!!
Try Fernglen Panels in Ferntree Gully. I've used them and been happy with them. The timeline might be a bit tight if you're looking to have it in time for Echuca though. There may be other recommendations with a quicker turnaround.

Trev's auto body in Hallam www.trevsautobody.com.au/
He's got my coupe in there at the moment for a full body resto, so you could go in and see the quality of work he does. it's very good.

Palace Automotive in Moorabbin. Tas has specialised in Coupes forever.
I've just had a falling out with my painter and Tas will get all my work in the future including the Capri I'm about to start on |

All the good ones are pricey and there lies the problem. Cheap means long delays, bog over rust etc etc. To quote someone wiser than me.... You can't polish a **** but you can paint it!
Sorry to rant a little but I'm over people that make promises that most times they know they can't keep then it's somehow the car owners problem/issue. |

Sorry forgot to add my point. Do your research, go to a reputable paint shop, pay a little more and be happy.
