Is there anything I can do if a ford dealership has sold me a car that previously been in a crash but did not tell me this now it playing up in that area ( had a mechanic tell me it's been repaired) ??

what did he find? has it had a major repair or a touch up?

Well I've had problems with the front left side since I got it not much to worry about at first but it's terrible now unsafe to drive the car pulls down and grinds front left quarter panel has been painted he pointed out which is where the problem is. It's an fg xr6

If its second hand, been repaired but not written off and supplied with a RWC (and is/was), no they do not need to tell you. That's what independent inspections are for such as an RACV report. If you bought it with a warranty and it covers the problem area, then they should help. If not unfortunately it is buyer beware.
