It's getting replaced shortly by the Malibu, they have most likely just cleared the excess stock.

Remember when Holden were offering 30-day Money Back guarantees when Holden Epica first came out? That was a new low for Holden, though it did sell 480 cars in it's 2nd month on sale.

Malibu will make an interesting change, maybe Holden is testing the water to see if buyers are interested, much better car than epicfailure...

Yes it certainly looks like a winner. 500 Sales would be enough for Holden.

I've heard the same too, along with the last 2000 or so units being dumped in NZ?

Having driven numerous examples of them, I won't be sad if the remaining units fall into the ocean by mistake.

Yeah im with most of the people here I thought it had already been discontinued.

Oh well good riddance, the Kia Optima and I45 make it look like a Camira.

Epica ha been axed, and 22 million Australians couldn't give a damn.

Not a great car. I'd be sad if that car could actually sell in any numbers.

The diesel version was bearable for a daily flog box.
Hopefully the Malibu sells well. Maybe they should call it Torana.

Malibu has been touted as one of the cars to replace Commodore for local production, so they will definately be having a good look at it.

The funny thing about that is some were sold on agreement that Holden dealerhsips bought them back after a certain period/kms. The dealer I used to work for ended up with about 30 Epicas on the used car yard. They took forever to sell.

The other one is a widened and lengthened Alpha based car, same size as next gen Cadillac CTS,
that would be around Malibu size and give Holden option of I-4, V6 and V8 while importing Impala sized car..

I must admit I always thought the interior materials in the Epica wernt bad, certainly parts of it felt more upmarket than a Falcon. The rest of the car however...

I swear I thought they discontinued them when the Cruse was released. Back in 2009, a pre-delivery worker at a Holden dealership told me that he hoped the Cruse will actually sell because they could never sell a single Epica and they only kept one Epica as a demonstrator hidden all the way out the back
