I'm looking at fitting a set of OEM strobe stripes to my convertible .. but they are relective. I've got a niggling feeling that it might be considered "illegal"? Do any of the old GTs or Mustangs have reflective stripes, or was it only Mopar who were crazy enough to do this?

my uncles 1968 XT GT is polar white and has the factory reflective red stripes.

I doubt they would be illegal. Come up to central queensland and just about every second car on the road has the yellow reflective stripes to allow them to go onto mine sites.
