Default Stormy brisbane - again.

My folks live in Parkinson and they sent me this link to the Courier Mail pics of a recent hail storm. it seriously looks like snow.

i lived there (bris) for 13years, 20 years ago, and i've never seen anything like it before. gee, it must've been loud!!

http://www.couriermail.com.au/news/g...6102098?page=1

Yep. storm season.

We got the the tail end on the one that snotted you this morning but it did not last long.

Might cop another one this afternoon although it is starting to blow a bit which will stuff up the convection.

Exactly, its that time of the year.
We got a little rain and 3 'claps' of thunder here on the Northside this morn, looks like it will miss me again this afternoon all north and south of me.

Thats the go.

We has a ripper of a storm front come through Moree yesterday/lastnight. 2in of rain in about an hour over night, the on-call boys at work were busy. Plenty of thunder and lightning, great start to storm season i reckon

We got snotted last night. 4 trees knocked down, a gate blown over and wheely bins pretending to be wingy bins. Next door lost a large part of its fence and quite a few trees.

Yup, it is storm season.......

The only part of that that will change over the next few months is the cold part. Sooner or later it will bucket down rain and the sun will be shinning at the same time.

Its like an ad for a drink like sunkist or something. Bright and sunny with a cooling drench.

It only feels freezing if your from QLD, to anyone from sth of the border it's just a mild day

No storm problems here on the Sunny coast, we just sat in the resort bar and went 'Ahhh....Ooohhh' to all the lightning.

Quite a nice light show here in surfer's last night but nothing major. Spent the day in Brissy on Friday....nice and clear.... Looks like we just missed the snow !!

The storms up here are quite transient....come down to Melbourne for a dose of one our ferral offerings that lasts all day....we dont get the water works as much but man o man... If you dont have stuff bolted down ....you'll find it in Tassie the next day.

Main thing is that everyone is safe....all other stuff can be replaced

We got a massive storm here saturday night. Flooded 2 of my sheds. Perfect Sunday morning. Raced MX at Coolum and they had to water the track !!! They obviously missed what we got..................

I was up the Coast and the wife rang to say there was water coming through the skylight in the kitchen after some fairly large hail, so now I'm back and about to go up and find out what damage there is.

Had some brilliant light shows on the Sunny Coast over the weekend, sitting out back at the in-laws having a chin wag and a BBQ, watching the show roll over head. Heard the Goldie got hammered.
