Default AU series 1 XR8 1/4 mile time?

Hey guys,

Who here has ran their stock AU xr8 on the quarter and what time did you get?

I got a best of 15.01 but then the next week, I put a pod filter on and built a box around it to suck in air through the headlight and got a best of 14.59.

these times are in a series 1 185kw?

pretty impressive...

220 series 111 and 250kw 5.6's achieved low 14's

I would expect high 14's to low 15's with the 185kw motor are the norm

Mine was an August 98 build 185kw. When it was written off and wrecked it all tore down completely stock except for the single 2.5" press bent exhaust.

Thats a good time. Cobra did pretty much the same in a stock AU1 auto XR8 back in 2004 or 2005.
