There was a recent article that the NZ government purchases were only going to Toyota, Hyundai and one other mnufacturer I believe. Holden wasnt the other one. Dont know if this has kicked in yet, and has affected sales yet.
But the other possibility could be that the commodore (VE) was in runout mode, and they have just limited supply to NZ until VE series ii was up and running. We all know how Holden doesnt like to over produce the commodore LOL. |
