Not everybody bothers to put their timeslip up...and technology changes constantly it's good to compare your own car against the best around to set a benchmark to strive for..... what I would really like to see is a top 25 in each category N/A Turbo etc... Australia wide so people can get an idea on what they have to do to be competitive or just bragging rights ...I don't think the time slip section stays up to date.....besides what do I know , I thought it was a good idea at the time

Should you lay claim to a record I think a time-slip should be mandatory.

Still a very very impressive result though!
I think Danny (Headsex) owns the record for quickest BTR equipped unopened XR6T doesn't he? 10.8x @ 130mph from memory??

Anyone know what the quickest XR6T/F6 ute is down the strip? Not fussed on what transmission/rear end/engine combo, so long as it has a Barra turbo & is a BA/F ute

While the basic Ford Six was code named Barra, the Turbo version clearly deserved its very own moniker – again enter Gordon Barfield.
We asked him if the engine had actually been called “Seagull” and how that came about.
“Actually it was just call “Gull”, because I named it that. Because we knew it was going to poo on everything”.
