Default AU SII Police XR & Fairmont/Fairlane Instrument Cluster

I have a SII Fairlane AU 2001 Model.

I have just changed the instrument cluster to a XR Police Chaser Type (Basically a Tickford Cluster with 240 on the clock) & the colours look pretier.

Anyhow the problems i have encountered so far....

1) Speedo Is out of whack
it works fine at 120KM/H
At 60KM/H it is actually doing around 66KM/H (Shows Less)
At 150KM/H it is actually doing less than 150KM/H (Around 144KM/H) [Shows More]

2) My trip computer aint working any more even though it lights up etc

3) The headlights delay thingy is kinda working but not like it should (It still turns off the lights so i am not worried too much)

Any suggestions on what wires need moving around???

Anything of use would be greatly appreciated.

thx
SL

did you put a series 2 dash in it? as series 1 and 2/3 dash are wired differently

XRs' didn't have climate control or trip computer so maybe the cluster isn't wired the same as a high series one so doesn't give the info to the trip computer. Maybe you need one from a TE50.
